Give students English as a choice
If Malaysians can get cheap education at school level in Malay, Chinese and Tamil, why not include English in the list.

Jangkitan wabak selesema A (H1N1) meningkat 38 kes lagi - rekod tertinggi peningkatan dalam masa sehari sejak kes pertama Mei lalu. Daripada jumlah tersebut, lima kes penularan tempatan disahkan.

Amalan Kemahiran Abad ke-21 Dalam P&P
Persoalan:
- Mengapa kemahiran-kemahiran berkenaan penting dan perlu didedahkan kepada pelajar kita di bangku sekolah?
- Apakah kemahiran-kemahiran berkenaan?
- Bagaimana kemahiran berkenaan boleh diintegrasikan dalam p&p di bilik darjah?
- Apakah guru-guru di sekolah bersedia untuk melakukannya?
Semasa peluang dan ruang perniagaan dan perkerjaan menjadi rata ('flattened') setiap individu yang berhasrat untuk menjadi pemain global yang berkesan perlu melengkapkan diri dengan pelbagai kemahiran. Pasaran pekerjaan kini merentasi sempadan geografi dengan tuntutan dan keperluan baru. Maknanya pelajar di bangku sekolah kini adalah tenaga kerja bukan sekadar untuk pasaran tempatan malah antarabangsa, sebagaimana yang diungkapkan oleh Thomas Friedman sebagai globalisasi versi 3.0 dalam bukunya "The World is Flat". Sementara pasaran tenaga kerja tempatan pun mungkin akan diambil oleh pemain-pemain global dari negara-negara lain. Mampukah anak-anak kita bersaing? Sudahkah kita mempersiapkan mereka untuk bersaing? Atau kita tak ambil pusing?
